About Matrix IR™ Treatment
Matrix IR™ is a non-invasive procedure used to help reduce facial wrinkles to create a younger and more relaxed appearance. This treatment can help reduce frown lines, crow’s feet, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and other facial wrinkles by stimulating collagen production and therefore tightening the skin. The targeted area is heated with a laser to produce more collagen and firm sagging skin. The Matrix IR treatment is performed over a series of three to five treatments that typically last 30 minutes each and is painless for most patients.
Laser Skin Rejuvenation Results
Results from laser treatments are usually not immediate and can take several months to appear. Several sessions may be needed in order to reach the patient’s desired results, but laser techniques are often effective in completely eliminating age spots and other concerns.
Although safer than traditional resurfacing procedures, there are some risks associated with laser skin rejuvenation, such as unwanted lightening or darkening of the treated area or scarring. Choosing an experienced doctor can help reduce these risks.
