Dr Anne Lee is a native Californian. She grew up in Downey and graduated with Honors from UC Berkeley. It was in undergrad, before a chemistry final that she lost one of her contact lens, being highly myopic, she quickly realized her calling to help people see.

She graduated from SUNY Optometry in 2003, accepted into residency at the Tucson Veterans Affairs Hospital in 2004 with a specialty in managing ocular disease and low vision. She is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.) and was one of only two optometrists in AZ to be selected for a national Glaucoma summit where leaders join to develop the most advanced treatment protocols for the sigh threatening disease-Glaucoma.

Dr Lee has advanced expertise in dry eye treatments, myopia control, chronic eye disease management and in the last 12 years, she has been expanding her knowledge and special interest for procedures like Orthokeratology (no laser needed vision correction)/ atropine and pediatrics as it relates to myopia control and computer vision syndrome.

When Dr Lee is not in the office, you can find her winter time on the slopes in Vancouver or Colorado, by the beach in the summer where she resides (Manhattan Beach),and traveling the world with her twin daughters, now age 8.

Together with Dr Lee's husband, Michael Liu MD, an ER physician at Presbytarian Intercommunity Hospital (PIH), they contribute to cancer charities and dog rescue organizations and help foster shelter dogs. The twins, thus, have three fur-siblings -Jasper (LhasaPoo), Bonny (Jindo) and a new Stafordshire Bull Terrier, Squishy.

Dr Lee likes to be efficient and thorough and prefers to treat all her patients like her family.
