Dr. Jane Semel received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Claremont Men’s College, and received her graduate degree from University of Southern California. She completed her internship in Internal Medical at USC/LAC Medical Center, and her residency in Ophthalmology from White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. In addition, Dr. Semel completed a fellowship in the management of Retinovitreal conditions at White Memorial Medical Center.
Dr. Semel is board-certified and fellowship trained in Ophthalmology, and is licensed to practice in the state of California. She specializes in the treatment and prevention of eye disease.
Dr. Semel is a published author, offering her findings to the field of Ophthalmology. She is currently a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, International Society of Refractive Surgeons, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and American Society of Retinal Specialists.
Dr. Semel is a pilot and enjoys traveling and skiing in her free time.
