About FotoFacial®
FotoFacial® is an electrical optical synergy (ELOS) photorejuvenation treatment used to enhance the appearance of the skin. FotoFacial uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), Diode Laser and/or Radio Frequency (RF) to enhance the different components of your skin. This treatment can be used to treat the face, chest, hands or arms and gently focuses light energy on the preferred area. Most patients require 5 or 6 sessions to reach their desired results. It is most effective in treating rosacea, sun spots, age spots, spider veins and hyperpigmentation.
Laser Skin Rejuvenation Results
Results from laser treatments are usually not immediate and can take several months to appear. Several sessions may be needed in order to reach the patient’s desired results, but laser techniques are often effective in completely eliminating age spots and other concerns.
Although safer than traditional resurfacing procedures, there are some risks associated with laser skin rejuvenation, such as unwanted lightening or darkening of the treated area or scarring. Choosing an experienced doctor can help reduce these risks.
